Brussels: Novamont’s case study presented at the Innovative bio-based products conference

The "Innovative bio-based products: Investment, Environmental Impact and Future Perspectives" conference was held yesterday in Brussels, a platform where to present and reflect on the main elements emerging from the "Bioeconomy: Support to Policy for Research and Innovation" study. A plenary session led by the experts in the bioeconomy and three parallel sessions focused on different areas of ​​study were held through the day.
 
Giulia Gregori, Head of Strategic Planning and Institutional Communication of Novamont, participated in the round table "Successes in mobilizing finance for the development and commercialization of bio-based products", where together with Tuomas Mustonen, Paptic® bags, Pieter Imhof, BioBTX BV, Tuomas Hänninen, Lumir Oy and Jeremiah Dutton, Trifilon AB, discussed about the challenges and funding of the bio-based world, bringing Novamont’s case study.
 
The project “Bioeconomy: Support to Policy for Research and Innovation” which aims to inspire policy makers, the scientific community, producers, and all stakeholders, and to provide new information on innovative bio-based products, is funded by the European Commission and is promoted by COWI, Ecologic Institute, University of Bologna, Bio-Based World News, Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI and Utrecht University.
