Novamont was among the sustainability partners of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity

The #Notalone – World Meeting on Human Fraternity event was held on 10 June, organised by the Fratelli tutti Foundation. It was an opportunity to promote fraternity and social friendship between individuals and people worldwide.

Sustainability was also a vital theme of the event. Novamont, together with Assocarta, Polycart, Consorzio Italiano Compostatori, Palm Spa SB, Ecocomunicazione, Palm W&P, Cooperativa Sociale Faliero and with the coordination of Sisifo Società Benefit, welcomed the participants in St. Peter's Square with a sustainable gift: the Fraternity seed. A case made of FSC-certified cardboard, with flower seeds placed inside and a biodegradable and compostable bag in Mater-Bi with compost.

Also present were thirty Nobel Peace Prize winners also met with environmental experts, associations, and students, to draft and share the Declaration of Human Fraternity.

Finally, during the event, a stage of the Coldiretti 2023 Village was also held, where participants were able to visit the Terra Felix stand and get to know the products of Mater-Agro up close, the company dedicated to farmers, created on the initiative of Coldiretti and Novamont to promote a model of participatory innovation between agriculture, research and industry.
