Talent4BBI: Novamont hosts the European Summer School on Circular Bioeconomy

From 27 to 30 June, the Summer School of the Talent4BBI project, Training Future Leaders 4 the European Bio-Based Industries, the first industry led MSCA PhD programme in Ireland, managed by BiOrbic, the Bioeconomy SFI Research Centre located in University College Dublin (UCD), was held at Novamont's Novara headquarters.

Novamont, as an industry partner, contributed to the project by opening the doors of its Novara headquarters for a week to ten young PhD students with an international profile, who had the opportunity to learn more about our development model and acquire cross-cutting and interdisciplinary skills.

The Summer School was indeed an important opportunity for researchers to dive into industrial research and develop the key skills, competences and experience required by the biobased industries. Wide space within the programme was given also to interactive activities such as discussions and exercises that allowed the PhD students to face challenges in a critical and collaborative spirit.

The initiative was organised by Officine Novamont, the corporate Academy program, aimed at promoting the continuous training of Group people and spreading knowledge of the circular bioeconomy and the Novamont model.
