The Whistleblowing Management System
In compliance with the provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and the relevant implementing laws, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, the Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231 of 2001, and the internal Anti-Corruption Regulatory Instruments, we have adopted a whistleblowing management system (Reports, including Anonymous Reports, Received by Eni) that enables us to manage reports, including anonymous reports, received by Eni S.p.A. and by its subsidiaries in Italy and abroad.
In accordance with applicable legislation, regardless of the subject matter of the report and the entity concerned, everyone is always guaranteed the possibility of submitting reports directly to Eni S.p.A. We have also established a dedicated reporting channel for Novamont S.p.A. and its subsidiaries in Italy and abroad.
Regardless of the channel used, we guarantee the receipt, analysis and handling of reports submitted by anyone, including stakeholders, Eni Persons (Eni personnel and all those, both natural and legal persons, who operate in Italy and abroad for the achievement of Eni’s objectives, each within the scope of their respective functions and responsibilities), and other third parties, including anonymously. Such reports concern conduct carried out by Eni Persons in violation of the Code of Ethics, laws, regulations, measures issued by Authorities, internal regulations, 231 Models and CE Models.
The utmost confidentiality is guaranteed with regard to the persons and facts reported, as well as the identity of the reporting persons, so that anyone who makes a report is not subjected to any form of retaliation.
The relevant rules are set out in the regulation entitled “Reports, including Anonymous Reports, Received by Eni S.p.A. and by Subsidiaries in Italy and Abroad”, which is currently being updated.
Reports may be submitted through a dedicated Platform – designed to ensure, by means of IT procedures, the confidentiality of the reporting person’s identity – available at the following link.
Submit a report
Without prejudice to the preferred use of the reporting channels made available by Eni S.p.A. and Novamont S.p.A., in the cases strictly indicated pursuant to Article 6 of Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023, it is also possible to submit a report to the competent authority in this matter (ANAC).
The information and personal data communicated in the context of reports are processed in order to manage and follow up on the reports themselves, as well as to investigate any conduct reported and adopt the necessary measures in compliance with applicable laws, including personal data protection legislation. For further information on the methods and purposes of processing personal data included in the reports and collected during the procedure, please refer to the privacy notices concerning the processing of data of reporting persons, reported persons, or other third parties involved.
