Catia Bastioli among the protagonists of the Club of Rome event organized as part of the "Business for good leaders summit"

On June 17, the event "Enlightened Leadership: Navigating the human predicament in the 21st century ", organized by the Club of Rome as part of the Business for good leaders summit, was held in Rome.
The initiative, held in the context of the 50th anniversary of the publication of the "Limits to Growth" report, brought together leaders and experts from government, business, philanthropy, faith, economics, science, and other sectors to discuss how to accelerate new systemic thinking and regenerative transformation.

Among the speakers also Catia Bastioli, CEO Novamont and member of the Club of Rome who highlighted how, in order to accelerate towards a true ecological transition, today more than ever it is urgent to make a "cultural shift," moving away from a “silo approach” and integrating innovative technologies with a systemic vision into local territories, involving communities. According to Bastioli, circular bioeconomy will play a key role in this sense, since it can be an important tool to regenerate territories and decarbonize economy.

The Club of Rome is a non-governmental association of scientists, economists, activists, political leaders and business figures with the aim of analyzing, in a global context, the main challenges of contemporary society trying to catalyze changes and find solutions to different possible scenarios.
