Novamont among the guests of the Latin American Forum of Circular Economy Paraguay 2020

On November 17, Alberto Castellanza, International Sales Manager and Country Manager Germany of Novamont, participated to the Latin American Forum of Circular Economy “Paraguay 2020".

The Forum, organized by MIPYME, a programme-financed by the European Union, is one of the most important events for sustainability at continental level. The festival was created to promote the transition towards circular economy in the Latin American area, to raise both public and institutions’ awareness on this issue and to create a space dedicated to dialogue, discussion and exchange of best practices, involving actors from all around the world.

Alberto Castellanza explained Novamont bioeconomy model and spoke about Mater-Bi, highlighting its characteristics of biodegradability and compostability and the environmental benefits generated. In his speech he pointed out in particular the advantages for the soil and the impact on CO₂ emissions.
