High-purity azelaic acid is used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications, including creams for the treatment of acne and rosacea, skin depigmentation products, and formulations that help counteract free radicals.

Innovative biodegradable esters from renewable sources, notably Glycerol Tripelargonate (Gly-PeA, Neopentyl Glycol Dipelargonate (NPG-PeA), and Bis(2-ethylhexyl) Azelate (NAREGLAX®, are used as emollients in skin-care, make-up, and body-care formulations.

These esters feature a high renewable carbon content(100% for Gly-PeA, 79% for NPG-PeA, and 38% for NAREGLAX®) and are Palm Oil-free, making them ideal for formulations where sustainability and the natural origin of ingredientsare key considerations.
